The NFL opted to change up the NFL Pro Bowl yet again this year. Instead of Orlando or Honolulu, the Pro Bowl has been incorporated as part of the Super Bowl week festivities in Santa Clara and San Francisco. Instead of playing it on the Sunday prior to the Super Bowl, it’s just thrown in the middle of the week.

For Detroit Lions fans, it will be the last opportunity to see some of the players compete in a football-esque game for several months. The Lions have several players who are in attendance: QB Jared Goff, RB Jahmyr Gibbs, WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, RT Penei Sewell, EDGE Aidan Hutchinson, and LB Jack Campbell.

Last year’s Pro Bowl at least had some entertaining moments. Goff won MVP of the game, and Jahmyr Gibbs recorded an interception—yes, an interception.

The game is being played on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

So today’s Question of the Day is:

Will you be watching the 2026 NFL Pro Bowl?

My answer: I feel a slight obligation to watch as part of my job description, but I’d probably be watching anyways.

I’m not going to sit here and pretend like it’s the most entertaining game, but I’ll probably get a good laugh out of something there. Plus, it’s fun to root for Lions players to perform well, even if it doesn’t matter at all. To me, it’s something perfectly fine to have on in the background while I’m doing something else.

Sure, you’d probably be better served to watch Pistons vs. Nuggets—a competitive game between two solid basketball teams, but I personally do not support that broadcast channel, especially given the most recent news that the Tigers are leaving their partnership with them, potentially forcing Detroit sports fans to pay for yet another subscription service. Bring back PASS Sports.

Anyway, will you be watching the Pro Bowl? Be honest, and share your thoughts in the comment section at the bottom of the page.
