Let’s review the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2025 rookie class:

Ashton Jeanty:

In the Grand scheme, Jeanty had a disappointing season. But he didn’t get much help from his offensive line and he is showed he is already one of the NFL’s best tackle-breaking runners. With an improved line, Jeanty has a chance to live up to his lofty draft status.

Jack Bech:

The second-round pick didn’t produce much. He had 20 catches for 224 yards on 29 targets. He had seven games without a catch. The Raiders still have a chance to develop Bech, but they may need to address the wide-receiver position in free agency as well.

Darien Porter:

The third-round pick played 54 percent of the snaps and he started 10 games. He had an up-a-down season, but shoed promise. He was a prototypical Pete Carroll cornerback, so it will be interesting to see if he’s a fit for the new coaching staff.

Caleb Rogers:

The third-round pick played in his sixth straight game and started five games. He showed promise. Again, he could be a question mark with the next staff as well.

Charles Grant:

He played 59 offensive snaps during the season, all coming late. He still could project as a solid future starter depending on what happens in the offseason.

Dont’e Thornton:

The wide receiver, taken in the fourth round, began the season as a starter but never proved worthy of it. While he has great size and speed, he isn’t a mature route runner and he has questionable hands. After so much hype, he ended the season with just 10 catches on 30 targets. He’s very much a project and the Raiders shouldn’t pencil him in as a sure contributor in 2026 going into the season.

Tonka Hemingway:

The fourth-round pick played in nine games and he sparked late in the season. He had four sacks in nine games. He has a look of a solid contributor.

JJ Pegues:

The defensive tackle, taken in the sixth round, played for the nine games and played 23 percent of the snaps. He flashed at times..

Cody Lindenberg:

The seventh-round pick was a core special teamer, which isn’t bad for a seventh-round pick.

Carter Runyan:

The undrafted free agent tight end was promoted late in the season and he played sparingly.

Greedy Vance:

The undrafted free agent played some late in the season after being promoted from the practice squad.
