Giants will be short-handed at cornerback
With cornerbacks Dru Phillips and Adoree’ Jackson both inactive Thursday night due to calf injuries, how the New York Giants secondary holds up against the prolific passing attack of the Dallas Cowboys will be a major question.
Cor’Dale Flott and Nick McCloud, who is returning after missing two games with a knee injury, should play major roles. If the Giants need to go to the depth beyond Flott, McCloud, and Tae Banks that could become an issue.
Wide receiver Darius Slayton, questionable with a thumb injury, will play. Whether he will be limited, possibly creating more opportunities for Jalin Hyatt, remains to be seen.
Dallas will be without starting cornerback Caelan Carson. The rookie fifth-round pick has a shoulder injury.
