The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their Wild Card game against the San Francisco 49ers in the 2026 NFL playoffs.

The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Lane Johnson, Brett Toth, Jakorian Bennett, Joshua Uche, Ty Robinson, A.J. Dillon, and Sam Howell.

Despite previous reporting that Lane Johnson would play, the Eagles’ starting right tackle is OUT. Lane Johnson was limited in practice all week before being ruled questionable on the final injury report. With Lane Johnson out, the Eagles will continue to start Fred Johnson at right tackle. The good news is that the 49ers have the worst pass rush in the NFL, ranking dead last in sacks. The bad news is that Lane Johnson is a much better player than Fred Johnson. Rookie Cameron Williams is notably active for tackle depth.

Toth was originally ruled questionable on Friday before being downgraded to OUT on Saturday. He was not cleared from his concussion in time to play. Toth’s absence potentially leaves Drew Kendall as the backup center and Matt Pryor as the top backup at both guard positions.

Bennett is a healthy scratch for the first time this season. He really struggled in the Eagles’ Week 18 game. Rookie Mac McWilliams, who’s been a healthy scratch most of this season, is notably active ahead of Bennett.

Uche is back to being a healthy scratch after seeing some playing time with the Eagles resting their starters in Week 18.

Robinson is back to being a health scratch with four defensive tackles (plus Brandon Graham) active for this game.

Dillon is back to being a healthy scratch as the Eagles’ fourth running back.

Howell is the emergency third quarterback. He can only enter the game if both Jalen Hurts and Tanner McKee become unavailable.

Andre’ Sam and Charley Hughlett are active after being temporarily elevated from the practice squad for this game.

OT Lane Johnson – Injury.

OL Brett Toth – Concussion.

EDGE Joshua Uche – Fifth edge rusher.

RB A.J. Dillon – Fourth running back.

San Francisco 49ers inactive list

49ers starting left tackle Trent Williams is notably ACTIVE for this game despite being ruled questionable to play.

Starting wide receiver Ricky Pearsall and starting linebacker Dee Winters are inactive, as expected, after not practicing all week.
