The final game of the quarterfinal round of the College Football Playoffs will feature a rematch from earlier in the season between Ole Miss and Georgia. Georgia pulled out a thrilling 43-35 win at home. This game will be held at the Superdome on New Year’s Day at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The Cincinnati Bengals will likely continue looking to add some talent at the defensive tackle position. Both teams have a player who should be of interest to them. For Ole Miss, they have the 6’7” 330-pound Zxavian Harris. Harris has almost 35” arm length, a stout anchor against the run, and good bull-rush power as a pass rusher.
Christen Miller is a defensive tackle for the Bulldogs. He has excellent stack and shed ability, is tough against the run, and has 17 pressures this year. His ability as a run defender, with high upside as a pass rusher, will likely see him be selected inside the top 50 this year.
The Bengals have to decide how they feel moving forward with Barrett Carter as a starter at linebacker. If they decide to look back in the draft early, CJ Allen is among the top three linebackers in this class. He is a reliable tackler, has good straight-line speed, and has been a three-year starter before even turning 21 years old for the Bulldogs.
Princewill Umanmielen could add some depth at the defensive end position in Cincinnati. He has had a breakout junior season after transferring to Ole Miss from Nebraska ahead of the 2025 season. He has eight sacks on the year, possesses great length, and has a quick first step off the snap.
The Bengals could look to add their left tackle of the future with Orlando Brown Jr. going in to the last year of his contract. One of my favorite left tackle prospects is Monroe Freeling from Georgia. His athleticism shows with his quick feet; he possesses ideal size at 6’7” and 315 pounds, and he has an elite 86.0 pass blocking grade in 2025.
The Bengals have the best wide receiver duo in the NFL with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. They could still use an upgrade in the slot. Zachariah Branch is an electric slot wide receiver with elite return ability. Adding his elusiveness, speed, and run after catch ability could unlock yet another level to the Bengals’ explosive offense.
Expanded list of draft-eligible prospects of note for Ole Miss includes Trinidad Chambliss (QB), De’Zhaun Stribling (WR), Harrison Wallace III (WR), Dae’quan Wright (TE), Diego Poubds (OT), Suntarine Perkins (LB), Wydett Williams Jr. (S), and Sage Ryan (S).
Expanded list of draft-eligible prospects for Georgia includes Gunner Stockton, Dillon Bell (WR), Colbie Young (WR), Oscar Delp (TE), Micah Morris (OG), Raylen Wilson (LB), and Daylen Everette (CB).
