All about Thursday night’s game
The New York Giants (1-2) will host the Dallas Cowboys (1-2) tonight on Thursday Night Football.
Both teams enter the game carrying a 1-2 record and significant motivation to avoid a 1-3 start. The Giants are 0-1 in the division after Week 2’s last-second loss to the Washington Commanders, while this is Dallas’ first game against an NFC East rival. However, the Cowboys are coming off a pair of tough losses at home to the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens.
The Giants have been playing with more confidence and are coming off a dominant defensive performance against the Cleveland Browns. The Cowboys, meanwhile, are still searching for their footing after spending the summer trying to get Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb under contract.
The Giants enter the game as 5.5-point underdogs at home (per FanDuel Sportsbook) against the Cowboys despite being well-matched statistically.
