The New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings, neither team with anything to play for other than pride, meet Sunday at MetLife Stadium. The Giants are 2-12 and have lost eight straight games. The Vikings are 6-8 and out of playoff contention, but have won their last two games.
The Giants lost to the Washington Commanders, 29-21, on Sunday. Two weeks ago, Minnesota routed Washington, 31-0. The Vikings dropped 34 points on the Dallas Cowboys in a Week 15 victory, so offensively they will be a challenge for the porous Giants defense.
New York will employ its fourth placekicker of the season this week, having waived Younghoe Koo on Tuesday.
The Giants have not won fewer than three games in a season since 1974, a time when NFL seasons were 14 games rather than the current 17.
Keep it right here as we get you ready for Sunday’s game with all of the news, opinion, and analysis.
