Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons vs. Giants RT Jermaine Eluemunor. Parsons has dominated the Big Blue offensive line and given them fits, but a lot of that has been against Evan Neal. Now Eluemunor gets his best chance to prove his worth after a solid game against Cleveland’s talented pair of rushers in Myles Garrett and Za’Darius Smith.
Giants embracing chance to make Cowboys statement in lopsided rivalry: ‘New day’ | New York Post
“I think it’s a boost, honestly,” defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence said of the short week. “I like it because you don’t have to dwell on the win too much. It’s to the next thing, and that’s what we need.”

Presser Points: Takeaways from Coach Brian Daboll | Giants.com
With the Giants playing the most rookies in the league by percentage, head coach Brian Daboll talk about how are they handling the inexperience players.
“For young players, they’re going to make mistakes. Everybody’s going to make mistakes. But young players, that’s why you play them, because you think they have good talent. They’re going to go through some growing pains here and there. But you can learn from them, learning from the things that show up. And then as the season goes on, you see improvement from those young players. And I’d say I have confidence in all our young guys, all our rookies. They have the right DNA. They work hard. They’re smart. They care about football. They’re good teammates. It’s important to them. And then you have good veterans in the room that help them along the way.”
Ranking the best NFL rookies after NFL Week 3 | PFF
1. CB Andru Phillips PFF Grade: 80.2 Phillips suffered a calf injury after only seven snaps in the Giants’ win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Through three weeks, he has earned an 83.9 PFF coverage grade and allowed just 28 yards and seven receptions in coverage.
2. WR Malik Nabers PFF Grade: 80.1 Nabers impressed for the second straight week for the Giants, scoring twice in the team’s first win of the season. He’s averaged 2.38 yards per route run over the first three weeks of the season, and his 80.1 PFF receiving grade ranks ninth among all players at the position.

“That was a big emphasis throughout the week: Losers have a [losing] mentality. Losing happens because it’s the NFL, the best of the best, but we’re not going to have no loser mentality,” Pinnock said.
How Giants’ Daniel Jones looked like completely different QB in win vs. Browns | The Athletic
The clearest sign of his increased comfort Sunday was that Jones was willing to throw the ball downfield when under duress. His average depth of target under pressure was 9.5 yards on Sunday compared to 5.6 yards in the opener.
And it’s not as if improved pass protection was the difference. The Vikings pressured Jones on 40 percent of his dropbacks, while the Browns pressured him on 51 percent of his dropbacks.
Jones: Its not just Nabers
“I have confidence in all our guys. Malik has played well, but we have a lot of good receivers.”

Giants Can Win with QB Daniel Jones, Says Victor Cruz | SI.com
Former Giants receiver Victor Cruz believes that the Giants have finally put the right kind of offense around Jones—an offense that includes a much better offensive line, a functional running game, and a very strong receiver group led by rookie Malik Nabers—to where this team could really make some noise in the coming weeks.
“I think they can win with Daniel,” Cruz recently told the Locked On Giants podcast. “I think they finally have the type of offense around him that he can feel confident in, and he can go out there and put points up and do things positively as an offense on the whole.”
Malik Nabers nominated for Rookie of the Week | Giants.com
Three weeks, three nominations. Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers has once again been nominated for the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week following his dominant performance against the Cleveland Browns, marking the third consecutive time he’s been up for the weekly award.
Malik Nabers’ next Giants challenge is signature Cowboys moment like Odell Beckham Jr. | New York Post
For all Malik Nabers has already achieved in his first three games with the Giants, he has no stats, no reflection points and no exploits stored up with the next opponent. What is achieved against the Dallas Cowboys does not earn more in the ledger — one catch is still one catch — but it does more loudly resonate in the hearts and minds of a general population that can be split into two distinct groups: Those who love the Cowboys and those who despise them.

Giants reality check: They still have plenty to fix if they want to build on relieving win at Browns | NJ.com
The Giants were understandably relieved and pleased Sunday evening after beating the Browns. You could sense the tension lifting in their postgame locker room.
But 1-2 feels a whole lot different than 0-3, even if the Giants remain a flawed team. And they do, in fact, remain a flawed team. That much was obvious in Cleveland, where they played an excellent first half, led 21-7 after halftime, and then didn’t do a whole lot in the second half.
NFL Week 4 Power Rankings 2024: How all 32 teams stack up | ESPN
The Giants have five turnovers in three games, and running back Devin Singletary had costly fumbles in each of the past two games. New York was also fortunate a roughing the passer penalty negated a would-be interception by QB Daniel Jones early against Cleveland in Week 3. For this group to get to the next level, New York needs to do a better job at protecting the football. Singletary, in particular, has to get the fumbling under control. Only Dalvin Cook has more fumbles than the 13 Singletary has since entering the league in 2019.

Jerry Jones ‘completely’ accepts blame for Cowboys 1-2 start: ‘How could you think otherwise?’ | The Athletic
“It’s well-known that most decisions (are) ultimately made there, I either have to acquiesce or approve it,” Jones told 105.3 “The Fan” on Tuesday about WFAA’s poll. “That’s very fair. How could you think otherwise? Whether it be who is out there coaching, whether it be who is out there playing, whether it be the stadium you’re walking into, whatever it is here, that’s the way it is.”
Why your NFL team won, lost in Week 3 | PFF
Why the Cowboys lost: The Cowboys just couldn’t win up front. They were gashed in the run game but also couldn’t lay a hand on Lamar Jackson. Jackson was pressured on just 23.5% of his dropbacks and sacked zero times.
Cowboys vs Ravens: 3 questions raised from team’s loss on Sunday | Blogging The Boys
Is there any fixing the run game? If so, it will have to come from the offensive schemers and the blocking up front. The current backs aren’t going to get any better, and even throwing Dalvin Cook out there won’t matter with the play-calling and offensive line performance we’ve seen so far.
Pass protection is one thing. We knew Tyler Guyton would have growing pains as a rookie left tackle, and it’s never really been Terence Steele’s forte. But the hope going into the year that the rookie additions, plus a supposedly healthier Steele, would boost the run blocking from a year ago appears to have been misplaced.
Micah Parsons: It’s been a humbling start, but I believe we’ll get better | Pro Football Talk
Parsons said on The Edge podcast that he believes in defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer’s ability to push things in the right direction.
“I would say the start of the season has been extremely humbling,” Parsons said. “We fell short after not starting great, didn’t put ourselves in the best situations. I would still say I’m still positive because everyone is still coming in, Zim, we’re going to get better. We’re going to keep learning. We’re going to keep growing.”
