After a three-game Thanksgiving feast of football last week, we return to the standard one Thursday Night Football game in Week 14 – though it does feature two of the teams from Thanksgiving. The Dallas Cowboys visit the Detroit Lions tonight to kick off this week’s schedule.
The Lions hosted the Green Bay Packers in the first Thanksgiving game, losing 31-24 to fall to 7-5 on the year. The Cowboys hosted the second game of the day, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-24 to move to 6-5-1 this season. Now, both Detroit and Dallas are looking to thrust themselves back into the NFC playoff picture.
