Going 0-3 in the month of September and cruising into the final game of the opening month of the NFL season against a surging team isn’t exactly what the Bengals had in mind, in terms of “starting hot”.
Yet, here they are, backs against the wall again, needing to climb out of a hole to get back to being one of the league’s elite teams. While there were encouraging moments in last night’s contest, there were many others that were eye-opening, in the most pessimistic of ways.
