Indianapolis Colts linebacker Jaylon Carlies (ankle) was a full participant at practice on Friday. However, he has been ruled OUT of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. Carlies had put together two full weeks if practice since his practice window was opened from being on injured reserve. If he practices again next week and doesn’t get elevated from IR, then he must remain out for the rest of the season.
Quarterback Daniel Jones was a full participant at practice on Friday and therefore does not have an injury designation for this Sunday’s home game against the Houston Texans. Jones practiced full on Friday. However, in videos shared by the media, he still looked to be affected by his fractured fibula when moving around in the pocket. It will be interesting to see how mobile Jones is on Sunday against an excellent Texans defense.
Cornerback Sauce Gardner (back) and defensive tackle Neville Gallimore (knee) both practiced full on Friday making it back-to-back back full practices for them both. Both Gardner and Gallimore do not have an injury designation going into the game on Sunday.
Cornerback Charvarius Ward was limited at practice on Friday with a groin injury. Ward was not on the injury report at all until Friday, so it is interesting to see him pop up headed into the weekend. However, the team has not given him an injury designation which likely means they expect the injury to not affect his play on Sunday.
