It’s Thanksgiving Day and in the NFL that means John Madden.
The Raiders’ legendary Hall of Fame coach loved Thanksgiving Day and everything it had to offer for NFL fans.
Once gain, the league is horning Madden on Thanksgiving. It has become a tradition to honor the former coach, broadcaster and video game inspiration who is a football legend. Madden died on December 28, 2021 at the age of 85.
Special coins and all player jerseys will feature a Madden each in all three games played Thursday Each game will have a Madden Thanksgiving Day MVP.
This is a fantastic idea and tradition and gives all of a us a chance to remember and reflect on John Madden, true American treasure.
