It’s time for your yearly helping of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and Detroit Lions football. Coming off an overtime thriller, the Lions aim to win back-to-back games for the first time since the beginning of October. This matchup is a revenge game from their Week 1 NFC North head-to-head against the Green Bay Packers, where Detroit appeared to be a shell of its former self. Now, 12 weeks later, can Detroit right the wrongs and move up to second place in the division, or will they lose their grasp at possibly repeating as divisional champions?
“We’ve got another opportunity in front of us at our place on a short week, and we’re looking forward to it,” said Lions head coach Dan Campbell. “It’s a good team. It’s a really good team, but we are looking forward to this. We are looking forward to this a lot.”
