The Cincinnati Bengals have a short week to prepare for the Baltimore Ravens, as the two sides are set to face off on Thanksgiving Night.

The Week 12 loss to the New England Patriots was filled with injuries, and the team’s projected injury report reflects that.

The team did not practice, but released a projected injury report, saying what a player’s status would have been had they practiced.

The big news is that franchise quarterback Joe Burrow (toe) will start on Thursday. He would have been a full participant and is set to take the field for the first time since Week 2.

Wide receiver Tee Higgins (concussion) will not play Sunday, per head coach Zac Taylor. Higgins suffered a concussion on a scary play that resulted in him being taken off the field on a cart. Ja’Marr Chase will return from his suspension, but the Bengals will be without his running mate.

Defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip/pelvis), per Taylor, also will not play Thursday night. With the losses piling up and Hendrickson’s uncertain contract situation, it is fair to wonder if we will see him suit up again in 2025.

Running back Samaje Perine (ankle) would have been a full participant, which is good news because Tahj Brooks, who played in Perine’s absence, did not practice after suffering a concussion in Week 12. If Perine is able to play, he will split carries with Chase Brown.

For Baltimore, star quarterback Lamar Jackson (toe) was listed as a nonparticipant, but head coach John Harbaugh seemed to act as if Jackson was good to go for Thursday night. Jackson has also been battling knee, ankle, and hamstring issues throughout the season. We saw how much all of this hindered him in Sunday’s narrow win over the Jets, so it’s fair to wonder if that carries over into Thursday, paving the way for another strong defensive performance from the Bengals.

Star safety Kyle Hamilton (ankle) was also out. Harbaugh gave him a chance to play Thursday, but did not commit one way or the other.

Defensive linemen Taven Bryan (knee) and Travis Jones (ankle) were both out, while receiver Rashod Bateman (ankle) was limited.
