The Cincinnati Bengals are currently hosting the top team in the AFC, as the New England Patriots currently hold a 9-2 record.
The Bengals are staying competitive against the Patriots despite the absence of Ja’Marr Chase, Trey Hendrickson, and Joe Burrow.
The defense has been playing with passion, and Evan McPherson is back to his true form in 2025.
The Bengals’ depth has been banged up today, though, with Marco Wilson being declared out due to a hamstring injury early in the first quarter and Tahj Brooks questionable to return in concussion protocol.
With no moves made at the trade deadline, this team needs its depth more than ever if it hopes to stay alive this season.
Wilson has struggled with injuries, and it is hard to see him immediately go down again so quickly this afternoon.
Brooks has played well when he is on the field and did a tremendous job picking up a free runner for the Patriots earlier today.
Hopefully, Brooks is able to return this afternoon or next week, and Wilson’s hamstring injury doesn’t put him on IR.
