Bengals Twitter reactions to a crushing loss to the Commanders

The Bengals took a loss that makes it very difficult to make the playoffs with an astoundingly terrible defensive performance.

Since 1979, there have been six NFL teams to start 0-3 and make the postseason.

Now, the Cincinnati Bengals will be trying to make it seven teams after a terrible loss to the Washington Commanders. The defense failed to get one single stop or turnover after playing well against the Chiefs in Week 2. The Bengals have a tiny margin of error the rest of the season, but they do still have a chance, the defense just has to figure out how to get some pressure.

Let’s see how Twitter reacted to the Bengals game against the Commanders.

The Bengals lost Trent Brown early in the game, and luckily, rookie Amarius Mims was ready to come in, especially since it looks like Brown might be out for a while, if not the entire remainder of the season.

Chase Brown got more work against the Commanders, and he did a phenomenal job again, begging for more touches going forward.

The Bengals made some questionable play calls in the red zone, which cost them in the end.

Things started to get out of hand quickly, though, when the Commanders pushed their lead out to two possessions.

The Bengals defense was so unserious about getting a stop that for the second week in a row they gave up a touchdown pass to an offensive lineman.

The Bengals are in a rough spot after falling to 0-3, and given how bad the defense looked, let’s finish up with some comments from fans and coaches after the loss.
