Late in the fourth quarter against the Lions, Eagles center Cam Jurgens was seen heading to the blue medical tent before ultimately leaving early for the locker room, and Brett Toth took the field in his place.
Jurgens has been dealing with various injuries going all the way back to the 2024 playoff run, and recently missed two games ahead of the bye week due to a knee injury. That he was sidelined once again indicates the center still isn’t back to full health.
He was one of four offensive lineman listed on the Eagles injury report earlier in the week, and despite all of those guys playing on Sunday night, both Jurgens and Lane Johnson ended up leaving the game early. Hopefully these aren’t issues that will be an issue long term or something that lingers, and they’re able to find a way to get healthy without any real breaks on the horizon.
