We’re a little less than ninety minutes away from kicking things off at U.S. Bank Stadium between the Minnesota Vikings and the Baltimore Ravens, and both teams have released their inactive lists for today’s contest. Let’s take a look at who will be watching this one in street clothes from the sidelines.
Baltimore Ravens
- RB Rasheen Ali
- G Emery Jones
- OT Joseph Noteboom
- DT Aeneas Peebles
- QB Cooper Rush (emergency QB)
- WR Devontez Walker
The Ravens had, literally, nobody listed on their final injury report, so it’s hard to say whether there are any surprises on their inactive list or not. I’m going to assume that there aren’t.
Minnesota Vikings
- LB Chaz Chambliss
- DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
- S Theo Jackson
- RB Corey Kiner
- TE Josh Oliver
- OT Walter Rouse
Jackson, who was listed as questionable on the Vikings’ final injury report, is a no-go for today’s game. We’ll see what the Vikings do in the secondary to combat his absence. And Aaron Jones is active, which means the Vikings have done the “elevate him to the active roster and then deactivate him on game day” trick with rookie Corey Kiner. Weird, but this isn’t the first time the Vikings have done that. No other real surprises on the list for the Vikings, though I do wonder why Ingram-Dawkins has been a healthy scratch over the past couple of weeks.
Also worth noting that the Vikings are again going without an emergency quarterback, as John Wolford remains on the practice squad. So, it’s just J.J. McCarthy and Max Brosmer at quarterback for the purple this week.
Those are your inactive lists for today’s game, folks. We’re going to have the first Open Thread of the day dropping at around 11:30 AM Central, and we hope that you’ll be joining us for today’s game!
