Following Tuesday’s quiet trade deadline in Miami Gardens, the Dolphins ended up making one adjustment to their roster by signing cornerback Clarence Lewis to their practice squad.
Lewis — just 24 years old — was an undrafted free agent out of Syracuse. He signed with the Tennessee Titans following the 2025 NFL Draft.
Lewis only played one season at Syracuse while in college — totaling 41 tackles (27 solo), one tackle for loss, 12 pass breakups and an interception in 13 games played (all starts). Before playing at Syracuse, Lewis spent four seasons at Notre Dame — amassing 124 tackles (104 solo), one sack, four tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, 18 pass breakups and three interceptions including one returned for a touchdown in 51 games (23 starts).
The former Orange defensive back stands at 5’11” and weighs in at 200 pounds.
