This evening’s Sunday Night Football game features the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, who will travel to Atlanta to take on the Atlanta Falcons. The Chiefs have thus far won both of their games this season against two of the better teams in the AFC. The Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens in week one, 27 to 20. Last week, the Chiefs won a close one over the Cincinnati Bengals, 26 to 25. The Falcons, for their part, have thus far split their two games. Week one saw the Falcons drop their game to the Pittsburgh Steelers 10 to 18. Atlanta bounced back in week two, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in Philly, 22 to 21.

—My Pick: The Chiefs will win outright and cover the spread this evening. Thus far, the Chiefs have just picked up where they left off last season, defeating two of the better teams in the AFC in their first two games. The Falcons struggled in week one, eventually losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers after only being able to muster 10 points over four quarters. The Falcons did bounce back in week two with an upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Even with the upset win, the Chiefs should be a tougher challenge than Philly.
