The Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Georgia to take on the Atlanta Falcons in a Week 3 “Sunday Night Football” showdown. The Chiefs and Falcons have only faced off 10 times in their histories, with the defending Super Bowl champs holding a 7-3 lead, including winning the past two meetings.
The Chiefs are off to a 2-0 start after beating the Ravens by a touchdown in Week 1 but needed a fourth-down penalty and a last-second field goal in order to beat the Bengals in Week 2. Meanwhile, the Falcons are 1-1 on the season, after losing 18-10 to the Steelers in Week 1, then pulling off a fantastic final-minute comeback over the Eagles in Week 2.
Betting line and pick for the game
Kansas City is the favorite in this game and the folks over at FanDuel Sportsbook have set the betting line at Chiefs -3.5 points.
As much fun as it was watching the Falcons upsetting the Eagles in Philadelphia, I’m not sure I can side with them pulling off another big upset two weeks in a row. The Chiefs are finding ways to win right now, and I believe they will walk out of this game 3-0.
