The Cincinnati Bengals were back on the practice field Thursday, and as practice opened, the team got more good news on the injury front.
Per the team’s official injury report, defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) was back at practice, again in a limited capacity. After being limited on Wednesday and being able to practice again on Thursday, Hendrickson appears to have a real chance to be ready to play Sunday.
Defensive end Cameron Sample (knee) was back at practice in a limited capacity after missing Wednesday.
Backup center Matt Lee (knee) was limited for the second straight day.
Cornerback Marco Wilson (hamstring) missed his second straight practice.
Wideout Charlie Jones (ribs), defensive end Cedric Johnson (calf), and tight end Tanner Hudson (concussion) were all full participants.
For the Jets, cornerback Sauce Gardner (concussion) missed practice for the second straight day. Gardner would likely line up against Ja’Marr Chase should he be able to play, but he would need to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol first.
Quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee), who could start on Sunday, was limited. Head coach Aaron Glenn called Taylor “day-to-day” earlier in the week.
Wide receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) was once again a nonparticipant after also missing Wednesday.
Running back Breece Hall (knee) was also limited.
