It’s a short week for our Minnesota Vikings, so we’re going to see them back on the field this evening for Thursday Night Football! They’re heading out to the West Coast to face off against the Los Angeles Chargers, hoping to get some momentum back after their loss to Philadelphia on Sunday. We want everyone to be able to follow along with this one, and here’s exactly how you can do that.
Television Info
Kickoff for this one is going to be a little later, with things set to get underway at 7:15 PM Central time. This game is available exclusively on Amazon Prime. . .unless you are in either the Twin Cities area or the Los Angeles area. If you’re in the Twin Cities, you’ll be able to watch this one on KMSP-9, and if you’re in Los Angeles you can see it on KTTV-11. Outside of that? It’s Amazon only for this one.
No map, since this is going to be the only game in town.
Radio Info
If you’re going to be traveling or just prefer to listen to things through the magic of radio, we have updated our list of Vikings Radio Network affiliates for this season. Wherever you are in the upper Midwest, you should be covered.
If you have satellite radio, you can catch the Vikings feed on Channel 226. You can also listen to the national broadcast from Westwood One on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Channel 88. In addition, if you’re so inclined, you can listen en español on Channel 227. If you’re utilizing the SiriusXM app, you can listen on the Vikings’ permanent home there, which is Channel 820.
Referee Info
According to the folks from Football Zebras, the officiating crew for this one will be headed up by Clete Blakeman. The last time the Vikings saw Blakeman and company was last year in Nashville, when that crew handled the Vikings’ 23-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
Weather Info
SoFi Stadium is, essentially, an indoor venue, so the weather isn’t going to have any real effect on the game. If you’re traveling and maiking your way to and from the stadium for this one, it should be a very nice day for it according to our friends at WeatherNation. Temperatures at kickoff will be hovering right around 70 degrees under clear skies and some light winds out of the west.
Betting Info
The line for this one has changed just a little bit since things opened up on Monday. The Vikings are now a 3.5-point underdog (the original line was 3) and the over/under has moved from 43.5 to 44.5. Not huge shifts, but shifts none the less.
Streaming Info
As it turns out, Amazon Prime is, in fact, a streaming service. So, if you want to stream this one, that’s your means of doing so.
And, as always, do not link to illegal streams around here, or you won’t be linking to anything else on this website anywhere.
That should be all of the information you need to follow along with tonight’s Thursday Night Football action from Los Angeles. As we usually do, we’ll have our first Open Thread of the evening dropping approximately 30 minutes before kickoff, which will put it at 6:45 PM Central, and we hope to see a bunch of you there with us!
