The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2025 NFL Week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Jalen Carter and Landon Dickerson are both notably ACTIVE after being ruled questionable to play. Both players missed Week 6 due to injury issues.
Xavier Gipson is also active for the first time since joining the Eagles. Seems like they’re finally giving him a shot at kick returner after Tank Bigsby’s struggles in that area.
The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Grant Calcaterra, A.J. Dillon, Mac McWilliams, Drew Kendall, and Sam Howell.
Calcaterra hasn’t been able to practice since suffering an oblique injury in Week 5. He was ruled out on Friday. The Eagles will have Dallas Goedert, Kylen Granson, Cameron Latu, and E.J. Jenkins (temporarily elevated from the practice squad to make his 2025 debut) available at tight end.
Dillon is a healthy scratch for the first time this season. The veteran running back had two bad fumbles in Week 6. The Eagles’ active running backs are Saquon Barkley, Will Shipley, and the aforementioned Tank Bigsby.
McWilliams is a healthy scratch for the third straight game.
Kendall is back to being a healthy scratch after suiting up as a depth option in Week 6 due to Dickerson being injured.
Howell is the emergency third quarterback. He can only enter the game if both Jalen Hurts and Tanner McKee become unavailable.
