The Philadelphia Eagles issued their first official injury report in advance of their Week 7 road game against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Eagles listed one player under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Grant Calcaterra.
Calcaterra was seen doing some rehab work on a side field during the media-attended portion of practice. By missing Wednesday, he might not be able to suit up against the Vikings. If that’s the case, the Eagles will be without their second tight end for the second game in a row.
The Eagles listed two players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Quinyon Mitchell and Landon Dickerson.
Seems like Mitchell and Dickerson have a chance to suit up this weekend. It’ll be worth monitoring how they progress in practice (or not) over the next two days. The Eagles could really afford to get both of them back.
If Mitchell can’t play, the Birds could be down to Adoree’ Jackson and Kelee Ringo as their starting cornerbacks.
If Dickerson can’t play, it’ll likely be Brett Toth starting at left guard.
The Eagles listed three players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, and Zack Baun.
After unexpectedly missing the Eagles’ game against the New York Giants with a heel injury, Carter told reporters he’ll play against the Vikings. He also mentioned that the time off helped him with his nagging shoulder injury. Getting Carter going would be a massive development for the Eagles’ defense.
Davis and Baun are new additions to the injury report this week but they’re both on track to play.
