The Detroit Lions don’t play until 4:25 p.m. ET, so come join us for our Week 3, 1 p.m. ET games live chat!
We are past the days of the Detroit Lions playing in the comfortable 1 p.m. ET slot for 16 out of 17 weeks. Detroit is now a draw for nationally televised games, and FOX’s afternoon Game of the Week.
Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals is technically neither of those. It’s simply a West Coast trip, and that typically comes with a later playing time. Indeed, Detroit kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.
That means Lions fans will have to sit patiently during the 1 p.m. ET slate, as we wait for Lions football. But, hey, it’s not all bad. Watching other NFL teams play can be relaxing as compared to the strain and stress of Lions football. So if you want to unwind a little before Lions kickoff, stay right here in this post. You can scroll to the bottom of the page and join our live chat as the 1 p.m. ET games proceed.
Here’s a look at the slate of early games:
- Giants at Browns
- Packers at Titans (local FOX game)
- Bears at Colts
- Texas at Vikings (local CBS game)
- Eagles at Saints
- Chargers at Steelers
- Broncos at Buccaneers
Enjoy your football Sunday and we’ll see you for Lions kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET.
