The Miami Dolphins will look to shake off a rough performance in Week 2 with a cross-country road trip to visit the Seattle Seahawks.

The Miami Dolphins completed their first two games of the 2024 NFL season in four days, beating the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 then losing to the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football to open Week. Now, ten days later, the team is back on the field for their Week 3 game. Can they bounce back from the loss last week with a strong performance against the Seattle Seahawks this week?

The Dolphins have lost their last two games against the Seahawks, dropping a 2020 game in Miami 31-23 and a 2016 game in Seattle 12-10. Miami will be looking to snap the two-game losing streak to the Seahawks while starting their backup quarterback. Third-year passer Skylar Thompson will be starting in place of Tua Tagovailoa, who landed on injured reserve this week after sustaining a concussion against the Bills. Will Thompson be able to hold the team together until Tagovailoa is cleared to return? This afternoon’s game will be the first test.

The Seahawks are struggling with their own injuries, particularly on the defense. They have started the year 2-0 under first-year head coach Mike Macdonald, but struggled stopping the run last week against the New England Patriots. Can they make the adjustments today to slow down Miami’s De’Von Achane?
