Each week, SB Nation tracks NFL fans’ confidence levels of their favorite teams with their Reacts Surveys posted on their team websites. For Pride of Detroit, we are tasked with gauging Detroit Lions fans’ confidence in the team heading into each game.
The 2025 season started out as a bit of an adventure but has settled in close to expectations. Fans’ confidence levels began at 94%, closely resembling the 2024 results, but confidence plummeted to 53% after a Week 1 loss. Since then, the Lions have gone on a four-game win streak, amassing 161 points over that time period. We’ve also seen confidence levels rise to 85% after a win over the Bears, followed by a huge jump to 99% following their win over the Ravens, and then a slight dip to 92% after dismantling the Browns.
In Week 5, the Lions once again took care of business, this time traveling to Cincinnati to dispatch the Bengals. With Detroit rolling and the remaining undefeated teams all losing this week, the Lions have vaulted up to the top of the national power rankings, finishing in the No. 1 spot in eight of the nine polls we track, with the only outlier ranking them No. 2 overall.
Now, heading into Week 6 with a battle with the Kansas City Chiefs on “Sunday Night Football,” it’s once again time to vote.
Throughout the year, we ask questions of the most plugged-in Detroit Lions fans and fans across the country. If you want to get these surveys emailed to you weekly, sign up here.
