The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2025 NFL Week 5 game against the Denver Broncos.
The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Sam Howell, Mac McWilliams, Drew Kendall, and Xavier Gipson.
Howell is the emergency third quarterback. He can only enter the game if both Jalen Hurts and Tanner McKee become unavailable.
McWilliams is a healthy scratch for the first time this season. The rookie cornerback is inactive behind Quinyon Mitchell, Kelee Ringo (who is reportedly starting at CB2), Cooper DeJean, Adoree’ Jackson, and Parry Nickerson.
Kendall has been a healthy scratch all season as a depth offensive lineman.
Gipson is a healthy scratch for the second game since joining the Eagles. The Eagles are keeping just four wide receivers active once again.
Azeez Ojulari is notably active for the first time this season. With Nolan Smith and Ogbo Okoronkwo going on injured reserve, there’s now an opportunity for Ojulari in the edge rusher rotation. His snaps could be very limited. We’ll see.
New long snapper Cal Adomitis is making his Eagles debut after the team put Charley Hughlett on injured reserve this week. He’s wearing No. 57.
