Raiders-Bears what they’re saying, Geno Smith ‘hasn’t shown up yet’

The Las Vegas Raiders’ offense was clicking in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears. The Raiders tied their highest point total of the season and the running game finally got going, as rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had the first 100-yard performance of his career with 21 carries for 138 yards and a touchdown.

Jeanty also had two receiving touchdowns, and Las Vegas outgained Chicago by 86 yards. The offensive line even played its best game of the season, paving the way for the team to rush for 240 yards and 7.7 yards per carry while allowing zero sacks. And the cherry on top is that the Silver and Black only punted once.

However, the Raiders had one major problem: quarterback Geno Smith.

Smith was awful in this game, throwing three interceptions, including two to safety Kevin Byard III. That resulted in just 117 passing yards and a 25-24 loss to the Bears. Granted, the Raiders still had a chance to win the game before Daniel Carlson’s field goal was blocked, but this one never should have been close with how the rest of the team played. That puts the quarterback on the wrong end of how the internet is reacting to the defeat.

To his credit, Smith isn’t shying away from any blame.

Is Geno Smith all of these combined?

Seahawks fans are rejoicing right now.

We got Jets Geno today.

Is it time to have the conversation about Kenny Pickett?

Okay, this is pretty funny and one hell of a coincidence!

That video from the summer is looking like a hot take now…

How much blame are you putting on the coaches for this loss?

A franchise record the team never hoped to accomplish…

To bring a quick smile to your face, enjoy Jeanty’s 64-yard touchdown run.

Life as a Raiders fan when they find another way to lose a ball game.

On a positive note, Maxx Crosby had a hell of a game with three TFLs, three batted passes and an interception.
