Wide receiver Malik Washington and running back Raheem Mostert are doubtful to play in Week 3.
The Miami Dolphins head into Week 3 with only three healthy wide receivers on the active roster. Skylar Thompson will rely heavily on Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Braxton Berrios, with Grant Dubose sidelined by a shoulder injury and Malik Washington doubtful due to a quadriceps issue.
Raheem Mostert (chest) is the only other Dolphin listed as doubtful, while Terron Armstead, despite limited practice, will play with a shoulder brace.
The Seattle Seahawks ruled out linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (knee) and tackle George Fant (knee), with former Dolphin Jerome Baker (hamstring) and starting running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique) both doubtful.
Walker missed last week’s overtime win against New England after rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries in Week 1. Zach Charbonnet filled in, playing 96 percent of snaps but managed only 38 yards on 14 attempts.
Skylar Thompson will make his first start of the season with Tua Tagovailoa on injured reserve. The Dolphins struggled against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2, but with extra preparation after playing last Thursday night, they’ll look to support Thompson in his first start since 2022. Winning on the road with a backup quarterback is tough, but Miami’s explosive offense gives Thompson a shot to deliver.
