The Bengals are overwhelming favorites for the second time this season.
The experts and oddsmakers are back on the Cincinnati Bengals’ hype train. They are overwhelming favorites against the Washington Commanders at home for Monday Night Football.
Can the Bengals wake up under the bright lights, or will they fall to 0-3 with everyone watching?
Odds
The Bengals are currently 7.5-point favorites against the Commanders, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. That is a lot of faith in this Bengals team to get their first win of the season at home. That is what having a much better outing against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2 can do for a team. Hopefully, they will build on that performance and can cover on Monday Night Football.
The point total is also set at 46.5, which the Bengals and their opponents have eclipsed in one of their two games. The Commanders and their opponents have also only eclipsed once.

You can’t help but feel déjà vu to Week 1 against the New England Patriots. Cincinnati came in as overwhelming favorites and fell flat. What is different this time? Well hopefully the offense doesn’t sleepwalk through most of the game and commit silly costly turnovers that have cost them both games.
This offense may be getting wide receiver Tee Higgins back, which should certainly make life easier for quarterback Joe Burrow who has struggled to get on the same page consistently with receivers who aren’t Ja’Marr Chase. The offense has just struggled to get receivers open. Maybe Cincinnati can stand to lean on their running game a bit more frequently.
This Commanders team also shouldn’t be taken lightly. No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels has shown he can use his legs to pick up yards, and the Bengals defense has struggled with that so far this season.
Hopefully, for Bengals fans’ sake, this game isn’t close, and it can be a nice stress-free win on Monday Night Football.
