- Cam Skattebo seizes the lead role: Skattebo took over for the Giants after Tyrone Tracy Jr.‘s shoulder injury and turned 16 touches into 121 yards and a touchdown for 24.1 PPR points.
- Tee Higgins’ outlook takes a hit: With Joe Burrow out, Higgins managed just 2.5 PPR points in Week 3. His history with Jake Browning isn’t encouraging.

BOOMS
Tyrone Tracy Jr. exited early against the Chiefs with a shoulder injury, and the rookie Skattebo took over from there, putting up 16 touches, 121 total yards, one touchdown and 24.1 PPR points.
Skattebo was Week 3’s second-highest-graded running back (82.9). He also finished with a 44.4% touch rate and a 53.3% adjusted target rate.
If Tracy misses time as expected with his dislocated shoulder, Skattebo is going to be a workhorse in the Giants’ backfield — and perhaps that would be the case even if Tracy were healthy.
Temperature Check: High-end RB2 with Tracy out
What a glorious time to be a Caleb Williams fantasy manager.
Williams is the fantasy QB3 through three games and finished as the ninth-highest-graded quarterback (76.8) in Week 3. He carved up the Cowboys‘ defense all day long, notching 298 yards, four passing touchdowns, two big-time throws and no turnover-worthy plays.
Dallas’ defense has now allowed 24, 31 and 29 fantasy points to quarterbacks. Get ready to fire up Jordan Love in Week 4 as he takes on the Cowboys’ unit.
Temperature Check: Top-10 QB for rest of season
Tucker quietly went off for eight receptions, 145 yards and three touchdowns on his way to 40.9 PPR points in Week 3.
He saw targets in all situations:
- Behind LOS Targets: 1
- Short Targets (0-9 Yards): 2
- Intermediate Targets (10-19 Yards): 5
- Deep Targets (20+ Yards): 1
- Two-Minute Drill Targets: 3
Quarterback Geno Smith locked onto Tucker and never looked back in Week 3, handing him a team-high 37.5% adjusted target rate.
If you have high priority on waivers or plenty of FAAB, get a bid in on Tre Tucker.

Opposite of Ja’Marr Chase, whom I wrote about last week, Tee Higgins is in a concerning spot with Joe Burrow out injured.
Higgins mustered just 2.5 PPR points in Week 3, continuing a trend we have seen with Jake Browning at the helm. When Browning took over in 2023 for Weeks 11-18, Higgins ranked fifth on the team in targets — behind Tyler Boyd, Tanner Hudson and Joe Mixon. During that span, Higgins was the PPR WR48, making him a benchable player.
The Bengals’ offense is going to be frustrating going forward for fantasy purposes.
Temperature Check: Mid-to-low-tier WR2
Jeanty has significantly underperformed based on his preseason ADP. He was drafted as the RB6 yet sits as the RB32 through three weeks.
However, it is not all his own doing. The Raiders’ offensive line is the 27th-ranked run-blocking unit by PFF grade (63.2). And while Jeanty leads the Raiders in touch rate (40.9%), Las Vegas’ other two running backs are beating him out in the receiving game. Jeanty has seen five targets, whereas Zamir White and Dylan Laube have combined for seven.
Better days are certainly ahead for Jeanty — especially if you roster him in dynasty. But things are looking fairly grim in redraft if the Raiders’ offensive line doesn’t improve and the offense doesn’t get into better game scripts.
Temperature Check: Worried; mid-tier RB2
After a promising QB10 finish in Week 1, it’s been downhill for Penix. In Week 3, he managed just 5.8 fantasy points and was benched for Kirk Cousins during Atlanta’s blowout loss to the Panthers. Only 72% of his attempts have been charted as catchable, and his 51.4 PFF passing grade through three weeks underscores the inconsistency. Until we see clearer signs of progress, you can leave him on the waiver wire.
