There is a perspective that the Los Angeles Rams don’t exactly value their linebacking position as they typically don’t spend high draft picks on the unit, and when they cut Chris Paul Jr., there was seemingly a level of concern among the fans, but the Rams are 2-0, and their defense from top to bottom has looked sound, now they get a HUGE test against the Philadelphia Eagles.
So what have you thought of the linebacking play? Have you been pleased? Is there anyone that you aren’t really feeling at the position? Is there anyone you’d like to see the Rams add or potentially target in the future?
And for those who saw my final score post, if you said that I am fool for saying the Eagles break 30 points, you might be right, I hope you’re right, and I am thinking I should’ve picked a better score, but we’ll see! Go Rams!

Feature: ‘He’s playing at a really, really high level’: Rams pleased with what they’ve seen from OLB Josaiah Stewart (therams.com)
“Stewart was on the board with his first career sack.
“It felt great,” Stewart told theRams.com. “Every place I’ve been at, just getting that first sack is kind of a feeling that you can do it, and you want to go even harder from there. And we have a great opponent of this week, so it’s a great opportunity.”
Los Angeles seemed likely to address the pass rush, or at least the outside linebacker position, in wake of Michael Hoecht signing with the Buffalo Bills in free agency this spring. Hoecht’s departure left a big void to fill in the rotation, especially as a smart, dependable player they deployed often in their package for known passing situations (third and long, for example).“
Rams’ DC Chris Shula Speaks Out on Week 3 Challenges (si.com)
“Q: What do you see from Eagles’ QB Jalen Hurts and how the Eagles haven’t lost since September with him at the helm?
“It’s unbelievable,” stated McVay. “He’s a winner. He’s a competitor. What I respect about them is they play the game on their terms. They know how they want to be able to play and it’s not exclusive to offense, defense or in teams. It’s all three together. They play team football. They know the style of play that they want to be able to play with.”
Rams at The Eagles: Staying Undefeated (lamag.com)
“We saw a firm reminder of just how spectacular a route-running savant Davante Adams still is, finishing with 1 touchdown and 106 receiving yards on an extremely efficient 6 catches. He and Stafford are finally clicking as expected, and we’d bet our money that the duo’s connection will only strengthen down the stretch of the season.
Puka Nacua also had a remarkable game with both the passing and rushing play calling, chalking up 91 receiving yards on 8 catches and a 45-yard rushing touchdown. To have such a talented player be able to produce with a pass or run game is a massive boon. We can’t wait to see how else Nacua is utilized in the offense. “
