The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report in advance of their Week 3 home game against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Eagles listed one player under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Byron Young.
Young (not to be confused with the Rams defensive lineman of the same name) is a new addition to the injury report. He’s listed with a “forehead laceration.” Ouch. Wonder how that happened. Doesn’t seem like it’ll prevent him from playing?
The Eagles listed three players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Dallas Goedert, Will Shipley, and Tanner McKee.
Goedert was limited for the second straight practice. He said he was pushing to play in Week 2 before being held out by trainers. We’ll see if he gets the green light this time around. Being upgraded to full go on Friday would be a very good sign for him.
Shipley returned to practice for the first time since getting injured in Week 1. He might be able to suit up this weekend. If not, he’s making good progress for a Week 4 return.
It’s not perfectly clear if McKee is ready to be the top backup quarterback behind Jalen Hurts. If he’s not, Sam Howell will be QB2 and McKee will be the emergency third quarterback.
The Eagles listed one player under FULL PARTICIPATION: Jalen Carter.
Carter was upgraded to full go after being listed as limited on Wednesday. He’ll be ready to start. We’ll see how his conditioning holds up over the course of the game.

It looks like starting left guard Steve Avila and starting defensive end Braden Fiske are on track to miss Sunday’s game. Those would be significant absences for the Rams in the trenches.
