It’s only Week 2, and the Miami Dolphins have been hit with the injury bug already.
During their 27-33 loss to the New England Patriots, multiple Dolphins went down with an injury. Linebacker Chop Robinson went down in the fourth quarter, grabbing at his left knee. Robinson was able to jog off the field, however.
Also, Safety Ifeatu “Iffy” Melifonwu went down with a calf injury, and did not return to the game.
In total, the Dolphins had four key injuries coming into Week 2, but will enter Week 3 with nearly triple that amount.

Given that the Dolphins are playing on the road on a short week, it’s expected that many of these players will miss Thursday’s game against the 2-0 Buffalo Bills. However, as per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, everyone on Miami’s active 53-man roster was available for practice on Tuesday, except for cornerback Storm Duck and the aforementioned Melifonwu.
Miami’s secondary was already weak coming into the season, so this is something to look out for going forward.
