There it is. The worst possible outcome for superstar QB Joe Burrow was just confirmed by Adam Schefter.
Burrow will require surgery to treat his turf toe and is expected to at least miss three months as a result.

That is a gut punch to a team that finally seemed to figure out how to win ugly games early in the season.
Now they must adjust the offense to support backup QB Jake Browning keep them in games.
Browning played admirably as usual, hitting Mitchell Tinsley and Tee Higgins for big-time touchdowns against the Jacksonville Jaguars in yesterday’s win.
But he also makes a high number of ill-advised throws, as evidenced by his three interceptions.
It remains to be seen if Cincinnati will bring in a veteran to back up Browning or possibly take over if he struggles.
Up next, the Bengals face the Minnesota Vikings, Browning’s old team, on the road.
