It’s time to get the four fingers up above your heads again, as we’re heading to the final quarter of play at U.S. Bank Stadium with your Minnesota Vikings trailing the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 12-6.
The Vikings got the ball to start the second half. . .and promptly went three-and-out on their first possession. The Falcons took over and started working the ball down the field behind their running game of Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allegier. Eventually, however, the Atlanta offense ran out of steam and they settled for Parker Romo’s fourth field goal of the night, another 33-yarder to put Atlanta’s lead back up to six again at 12-6.
The Vikings’ offense pushed the ball to near midfield on the ensuing possession, but they stalled out and wound up punting it away again. As we move to the fourth quarter of play, the Falcons are looking at punting the ball away after a big sack from Jonathan Greenard.
Yeah, that was all of the action from the third quarter. It’s every bit as exciting as it sounds.
The Vikings need to get on the comeback train here if they want to get to 2-0, as they trail the Falcons by a score of 12-6 heading into the fourth quarter. Can they pull it off? Hang out here with us and find out, won’t you?
