The Philadelphia Eagles squeaked by with another win on Sunday over the Kansas City Chiefs, and the two teams weren’t exactly exchanging pleasantries in the final minute of the game.
As Jalen Hurts stepped up to the line for victory formation, Chiefs defender Chris Jones tried to talk trash to the QB, who swiftly reminded the Chief that the Eagles won the game.
“JONES: You don’t even have 100 yards.
HURTS: We won the f***ing game, shut yo ass up”
Jones tried to mock Jalen Hurts’ stat line for the day — albeit incorrectly, with the QB credited with 101 passing yards on the day —, but failed to realize that the Eagles’ selfless quarterback only cares about winning. Hurts was sure to remind him, though.
It’s no surprise Jones would try and ruffle Hurts’ feathers, but he might want to focus on actually winning a game — something the Chiefs haven’t done now since January.
