Well, our weekly Madden simulations are, unfortunately, off to an accurate start. Last Saturday, when we ran a game of Madden 26 between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers and streamed the results on our Twitch and YouTube pages, we were shocked to see the offense struggle so much. Jared Goff managed just 155 passing yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery combined for only 57 yards. And the Lions managed just 13 points in a 16-13 loss to the Packers.
LMAO! LIKE THAT WOULD EVER HAPPEN!
sigh….
Well, let’s hope Madden has something better and more accurate in store this week as the Lions host the Chicago Bears in Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season.
In case you aren’t familiar, before every Detroit Lions game, I fire up a game of Madden, adjust the lineups based on injury reports, and let the computer take on the computer. You can watch live via our Twitch and YouTube pages. Additionally, I’ll be providing live commentary. I’ll also be reading the live chat, so if you have any questions about the upcoming game (or literally anything else), I’ll be happy to give my answers. We try to do these all on Saturday mornings before the college games start, so that you can spend the rest of your weekend enjoying actual football.
Here’s how you can join us!
