Week 2 officially kicks off Thursday night with a few pieces New York Giants fans are familiar with. NFC East rival Washington Commanders travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers with Micah Parsons ready to make an impact under the lights.
The Washington Commanders come in to this game 1-0 after their 21-6 win over the Giants in Week 1. Quarterback Jayden Daniels totaled 301 yards (233 pass, 68 rush) with a passing touchdown and a 98.3 rating during the opening Sunday. New wide receiver Deebo Samuel led team with 7 catches and 96 scrimmage yards (77 receiving, 19 rushing) and had his 21st-career rush TD in team debut last week.
The Green Bay Packers also come into this game 1-0 after an impressive 27-13 win over the Detroit Lions. Quarterback Jordan Love had two touchdown passes and a 128.6 rating in Week 1. While the offense got off to a hot start to control the game early, the defense truly shined against a great Lions offense. Micah Parsons got his first sack in a Packers uniform and helped set the tone in which the defense rallied around. The defense in total had four sacks to go with an interception.
