The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report in advance of their Week 2 road game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles listed three players under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Dallas Goedert, Will Shipley, and Tanner McKee.
All three players previously missed practice on Wednesday. They’re tracking not to play.
If Goedert doesn’t suit up, the Eagles will enter this game with Grant Calcaterra and Kyle Granson as their top two tight ends. The team will likely temporarily elevate Cameron Latu or E.J. Jenkins from the practice squad to be TE3.
If Shipley doesn’t suit up, the Eagles will enter this game with Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby, and A.J. Dillon as their top three running backs. Barkley will obviously see most of the workload. It’ll be interesting to see if Bigsby gets involved after the Eagles traded for him on Monday.
If McKee doesn’t suit up, the Eagles will enter this game with Sam Howell as the backup quarterback behind Jalen Hurts.
The Eagles listed one player under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Cameron Williams.
I wonder if the rookie offensive tackle getting banged up is a precursor to the Eagles stashing him on injured reserve to open up a roster spot.
The Eagles listed two players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Landon Dickerson and Jalyx Hunt.
Dickerson is on track to start in Week 2 despite being unable to finish the game in Week 1. We’ll see if he’s able to make it through Sunday’s action or if he has to come out again. Brett Toth is the top backup at left guard.
Hunt was also upgraded from limited to full. He’s ready to go.
