With Labor Day weekend starting tomorrow afternoon, I asked the following question last evening:
Do you and your family/friends see this weekend as the end of Summer or an excuse for you and yours to celebrate the end of Summer? What are your plans for the holiday weekend? Will you be attending a college football game this weekend, taking a trip, having a BBQ, or hosting another gathering?
Below are some of your answers and thoughts about this coming weekend-
Yarganaught has a solid weekend of grilling, hanging out with friends and family, and taking in a ball game planned.
I’ve got a few friends going to the LSU/Clemson game on Saturday. I was actually contemplating taking my daughter to the William&Mary game who is playing against Furman down the road from me. It would be more interesting than the UF game against some place called “LIU”. Not even going to bother looking that school up.
Sunday, my wife invited our friends over, so I’ll be grilling for about 20 people. They plan to start showing up around 2pm, so I probably won’t get to watch the 1pm game. It most likely won’t be on local CBS, and she’d get cranky if I locked myself in my office and streamed the game.
heatforlife has a list of plans that mimics mine; no plans, but I’m not going to miss my Canes. Hopefully, we’ll destroy the Irish. #ItsAllAboutTheU
no plans canes nd highlight for me
JUK is in Germany this weekend for a track event and some drinkin’.
Bet my plans are different.. in Zurich tonight for track and field, then Munich for a couple of nights in the beer halls
Dolfan88 has no plans. Perhaps we can get Bill to join the Canes bandwagon?
No plans.
finfanfromsiam has some eating and rooting on the U on his schedule.
Evening! BBQ, Wingfest and The U!
Alpha6 just wants his piece of pie! Who doesn’t love a nice piece of pie?
Plans? BBQ… lawn chairs, beer. Maybe pie later…
