It’s no secret, Tyree Wilson has been a pretty big dissapoinment since the Las Vegas Raiders drafted him with the No. 7 overall pick in 2023.
Wilson has had some moments. but in his first two seasons, he hasn’t been consistent at all and hasn’t been able to be trusted as a top-of-the-rotation player at defensive end.
This is a critical year from the Texas Tech product. If Wilson, who has just four career starts and eight sacks in two seasons, doesn’t take a significant step forward in 20025, the Raiders’ brass will likely not exercise his first-year option and make him a free agent in 2027.
Yet, there is some optimism surrounding Wilson. He had a solid preseason and flashed in training camp. He has publicly said he feels the most comfortable he has in the NFL going into this season.
How are you feeling about Wilson. Is it going to happen 0r not?
