The Los Angeles Rams finished up their preseason this past weekend, and they now can really start looking towards taking on the Houston Texans for some Week 1 NFL action. Everyone is different, but for me, it feels like the previous season ended just recently, but in reality it’s been months. Now, we are less than two weeks away from the start of a brand-new season.
Time flies.
L.A. is expected to be a contender in the NFC, but Matthew Stafford’s back could derail their hopes and dreams. It also might be something that is totally manageable, but we really don’t know. At this point, we can only guess.
Enjoy your Monday, keep an eye out for any big news across the NFL before the season starts and ask yourself, are you ready for some football?
Rams PFF grades: LA’s best and worst performers of the preseason (ramswire)
“Unsurprisingly, the Rams’ second-string linemen dominated the team’s top-graded players on offense. Dedich allowed zero pressures in two games, Leveston only allowed two in 73 pass-blocking snaps and Lampkin didn’t surrender a single one in his limited playing time. They all had run-blocking grades of 84.4 or better, too.”
Five takeaways from Rams’ 19-17 preseason Week 3 loss to Browns: Dresser Winn and Jordan Waters finish strong, Terrance Ferguson’s debut, and more (therams.com)
“Here are five takeaways from the contest.
1) Ferguson sees first action of the preseason. The rookie second-round draft pick had been sidelined for a portion of training camp and the preseason with a groin injury before returning to practice earlier this week. He finished with two receptions for 48 yards, though it would’ve been more had a 67-yard touchdown catch not been overturned due to him stepping out of bounds. The Rams’ broadcast mentioned at kickoff that Ferguson was slated to receive around 20 snaps.“
“The Philadelphia Eagles (-6.5) will be one of the NFL survivor pool picks some players jump on in Week 1. With a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys to open the 2025 NFL schedule, this is a popular pick for 2025 NFL survivor pool players who may have mapped out their strategy before the season. However, with a healthy Dak Prescott and Dallas’ history against Philadelphia, would it be a wise NFL survivor pool strategy to use the Eagles selection for Week 1 NFL knockout pool picks, or are you better off waiting for later in the season in eliminator pool picks?
Other Week 1 NFL survivor picks to consider are the Cardinals, Broncos, Jaguars and Buccaneers. Which way should you go in your NFL survivor pools? Before finalizing any Week 1 NFL survivor picks, see which team the red-hot SportsLine Projection Model just went all-in on.“
