Dylan Fairchild was drafted with the 81st pick of the 3rd round by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Bengals wasted no time inserting him with the starters in camp and during the first two preseason games.
During those games, he has been everything the team could have hoped for and more at left guard after struggling to find consistent play from the position the last few years. Fairchild has shown the work ethic, hand usage, and stout base that made him an intriguing prospect in the first place. His wrestling background is evident in how he plays the offensive line position. Pairing him with new offensive line coach Scott Peters’ strike system has been a perfect combination.
Below is a cut-up of all of his snaps from Preseason Game 2 versus Washington Commanders where he graded out with a rock solid overall PFF Grade of 74.9 a week after grading out with an elite 89.5 versus the Philadelphia Eagles.
