Quarterback battles add a needed level of excitement to the NFL preseason, and the Indianapolis Colts‘ competition is perhaps the most intriguing storyline thus far.
Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones duked it out for another week. Both completed two passes targeted 10 or more yards downfield against the Green Bay Packers, and neither made a big-time throw or a turnover-worthy play. It’s safe to say the battle continues.
In the end, a late touchdown drive helped the starter-less Packers overcome the Colts, 23-19, in preseason Week 2.
