The Las Vegas Raiders will host the San Francisco 49ers Saturday at Allegiant Stadium. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.

Based on last week’s showing in a 23-23 tie at the Seattle Seahawks are are some players we are interested in seeing play in Week 2 of the preseason, presented in alphabetical order:

Jamal Adams:

Adams was one of the few veteran Raiders’ players to stand out at Seattle. He was making his debut at linebacker after being a safety for his decorated career. Adams is looking to reignite his career and he looked good last week. IF he can keep it up, he should be a factor for Las Vegas in the regular season.

Thomas Booker:

Book was acquired in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles three days before debuting at Seattle in a deal for cornerback Jakorian Bennett. Booker looked good in his Raiders debut and he has a chance to be part of the rotation at defensive tackle moving forward.

Ashton Jeanty:

The No. 6 overall draft pick had a disappointing preseason debut. He had minus-1 yard rushing on thee carries. He was completely bottled up. He didn’t get much help from his offensive line, though. It would be nice to see Jeanty, who will be a huge part of the Raiders’ offensive in the regular season, to have some success against the 49ers.

Shedrick Jackson:

Every year at every NFL camp, there is a relatively unknown wide receiver who stands out. It was Jackson in Week 1. He had a nice chemistry with rookie quarterback Cam Miller had four catches for 76 yards as the Raiders came back to tie Seattle. If Jackson can have another nice game, he may put him in position to perhaps sneak on the 53-man roster.

Dylan Laube:

There wasn’t a lot of buzz about Laube this offseason after he was a darling last year. Yet, Laube thrust himself back in the conversation at Seattle. Laube had 34 yards rushing on five carries, a six-yard touchdown catch and made multiple plays on special teams. That’s the type of preseason work that earns a a guy a job.

Cam Miller:

The sixth-round pick had an intriguing night at Seattle as he completed six of 7 passes for 76 yards during a Raiders’ comeback. He looked comfortable and was effective. He wasn’t perfect, but that’s understandable. Current backup Aidan O’Connell struggled. So, there is a chance Miller can become the No. 2 quarterback behind Geno Smith. This game is a big opportunity for him.

J.J. Pegues:

The sixth-round pick started at defensive tackle and made some plays. There is an opportunity at the position. Pegues can solidify himself in the rotation with a strong preseason.

Darien Porter:

The third-round pick started at cornerback. He has a real chance to be a Week 1 starter at New England. But he must continue to impress.

Caleb Rogers:

The third-round pick played 34 snaps at Seattle and allowed just one pressure according to Pro Football Focus. That was a nice start for Rogers. Let’s see him keep it up.

Dont’a Thornton:

The fourth-round pick has been a training camp and star and he flashed in Seattle. He has speed and he can get open He needs to work 0n catching the ball, but he can further earn the trust of the coaching staff with a strong performance Saturday.
