Cowboys fans sure are loud and optimistic for a team that hasn’t made it to a conference championship since 1995, but heading into the 2025 season, it seems that a good portion have a more realistic expectation.
When asked in early-July about where Dallas will land among the NFC East, only 29 percent of fans picked their team to win the division. Sixty-four percent of fans figured the Cowboys would finish No. 2 or 3, and a surprisingly high nine percent thought they would actually end up being worse than the Giants and finish in last place.

With the Eagles and Commanders competing in last year’s NFC Championship, they’re favored to be the two teams vying for top place in the division this season. Still, it’s a bit surprising that 33 percent of Cowboys fans would admit they expect the Dak Prescott-led team to finish behind both Philadelphia and Washington in 2025.
How do you think the NFC East will look at the end of the season?
