The big shock here is Fitzpatrick coming back to the team that drafted him the first round back in 2018. After a stellar rookie season, Fitzpatrick was not happy at the time and wanted out of Miami. Perhaps things will be different now with a new coaching staff. Losing Smith will be a big blow to the offense, but Mike McDaniel must have a different vision for the tight end position as the team lacks a proven receiving threat in that room.
